(b. 1989, Lushnjë)
Bio
Visual artist based in Milan, working across painting, photography and performance. Her practice explores the body as a site of memory, transformation and perception, investigating the tension between the visible and the internal.
Through organic forms, fragmented anatomies and material processes, Skraqi transforms the body into an inner landscape—one that holds physical and psychological experiences, traces of memory and states of transformation. Her work moves between abstraction and figuration, often blurring the boundaries between flesh, matter and environment.
Born in Lushnjë, Albania, Skraqi studied Visual Arts at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2018 and Master’s degree in 2021. She also undertook exchange studies at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Liège and Université Paris 8.
Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Milan, Brussels, New York and Tirana. Her practice has been presented in exhibitions and projects such as Metamorphosis, Through and the ARDHJE Award exhibition.
